Like wind? Try Westcliffe, CO. It’s the opening weekend at the + D – Trout Ranch. This is an absolutely beautiful property with some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet. We did our meet and greet with our guest and ranch staff. The owner (Dick) regaled us of stories of seven pounders. I truly regret the fact that I have to disagree with a man that has done so much for the Wounded Warriors program, Boy Scouts and much, much more but this beauty was way beyond seven pounds. We’re all so wind burned and tired from fighting fish that I’m struggling to finish this report. I’d say the season is off to a great start.
