Flow 581
Water Temp 54
What
a good day on the water. I met two beginners at the nature Center and
promptly
moved to the Osprey Upper parking lot. We moved to the side channel and
hooked
up on one small bow. There were fly
fishers in every rock pile except the Pump House. We moved down and I
had the opportunity
to teach the tension cast and how to do a proper mend. The results
speak for them selves. Jeremy caught on quickly and landed a nice 16
inch bow. Ryan was next with his first
trout on a fly rod ever. It was all of 5
inches but the expression on his face tells it all. It was the largest
trout of his life!! The only way he could go is up, and sure
enough just before lunch he landed a nice 15 inch bow. The water is
crystal clear and beautiful in
this section of the river. The flows are
going to go up beyond safe guiding soon.
Book your trip now, you won’t be sorry!
Tight Lines,
Lou
